TIDM-NFC-P2P NFC Active and Passive Peer to Peer Communication Reference Design | TI.com
TIDM-NFC-P2P: This Near Field Communication (NFC) reference design provides a firmware example for implementing an NFC Peer to Peer (P2P) application. It is used for showing the application developer the correct way to implement a robust peer-to-peer project using the TRF7970A in both active and passive modes. The complexity of the Peer to Peer protocols and amount of NFC documentation that needs to be reviewed has traditionally been a barrier to developers creating NFC applications. This reference design solves this problem by providing a small number (five total) of easy to use Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The documentation, hardware, and example code provided allows the designer to quickly implement NFC P2P functionality with an MSP430 or other MCU of choice.
Thermopile Based Hand Gesture Backlight Controller Reference Design
TIDA-00211: The Thermopile Based Hand Gesture Backlight Controller is a sub-system reference design that allows an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) backlight to turn on quickly when a user waves their hand in front of the equipment housing. This design is intended as a reference design for applications requiring power control in low light conditions including thermostats, control panels, and other building automation end equipments. The thermopile senses the presence of a user’s hand up to 5 cm away from the sensor; even in low light or in dark conditions. This eliminates the need for a user to manually touch the display or press a button to awake the systems backlight.
