Serial Interface Dual 8-Channel Relay, LED, Stepper Driver
TIDA-00117: This reference design includes dual DRV8860 and an MSP430 value line MCU to provide 16-channel low side driver for Relays, LEDs, and Unipolar steppers. The solution suports voltage range from 8V to 38V, 200mA current for each channel, parallel outputs, protection of short condition and open load detection. Serial interface and daisy chain connection of DRV8860 give the most benefits on minimum input IOs and extending the output channels easily. An innovative energizing time and internal automatic PWM duty control provide obvious energy saving function especially for relay and solenoid driving. The PWM duty control also can be used for LED brightness control. Full and half step unipolar stepper motor control logic is also included in this design. The drive stage has integrated protection from short-circuit, under voltage, and over-temperature.
Dual-Channel Full-Bridge Converter (54V @ 30A) for PoE Power Sourcing (PSE)
PMP6712: PMP6712 is a phase-shifted full-bridge converter capable of delivering 1600W of isolated output power and achieving efficiency of greater than 96%. This design uses the UCC28950 controller in a dual phase master-slave configuration. An LM5017 constant on-time synchronous buck regulator provides bias power to primary and secondary-side circuits using a coupled inductor with isolated flyback winding. The isolation voltage is specified as 2250VDC, allowing this design to be used as a system supply for Power Over Ethernet and other telecommunications applications.
95VAC-305VAC Input, 50W SEPIC-PFC LED Driver
PMP5112: The PMP5112 reference design uses the UCC28810 in a single-stage, PFC-SEPIC configuration to drive a 50W LED load. This supply can operate from an input ranging from 85VAC up to 305VAC. It is capable of driving LED strings from 50V up to 100V at a fixed current of 0.5A with efficiency over 90%.
Reference Design - MOSFET Driver for Half Bridge with a Fly-Buck to Provide Isolated Power
PMP10645: The PMP10645 reference design is designed for SM74101 mosfet driver with a Fly-Buck power supply to drive half bridge. The SM74101 is a tiny 7A mosfet driver which can support 3A source current and 7A sink current. The LM5017 isolated output Fly-Buck power supply has four outputs to supply the gate driver bias in motor drive or inverter applications. The user can also use jumpers to set Unipolar or Bipolar PWM gate driver.
Universal Input 45W AC-DC LED Driver Reference Design
PMP6011: This design provides the ability to drive multiple LED strings with current matching from an AC source from 90VAC to 300VAC. The circuit is power factor corrected and provides high efficiency and good line regulation.

PMP10645.1: The PMP10645 reference design is designed for SM74101 mosfet driver with a Fly-Buck power supply to drive half bridge.
Universal AC Input, 12V/3A Single stage PFC-Flyback Reference Design with Synchronous Rectification
PMP9730: The PMP9730 reference design employs the UCC28051 power factor correction controller to implement a single stage PFC-Flyback AC/DC converter that generates an isolated 12V output at 3A from a universal AC input. The design features UCC28910 primary side regulation Flyback switcher for generating the VDD bias rails and the UCC24610 for 2ndary side synchronous rectification. This provides an excellent solution for systems such as motor drives requiring an isolated bus voltage, good power factor and high efficiency.
Automotive Range Boost Converter Drives Two Strings of LEDs Reference Design
PMP9010: This wide input voltage range boost operates from an input of 9V - 32V and regulates current in two strings of 13 LEDs. A second control loop monitors and regulates the input current during drop outs or faults. Discrete linear regulators at the bottom of each string control the individual string current while feedback minimizes the output voltage based on the LED voltage mismatch or shorts. This low cost design operates at near 94% efficiency.
24Vin+/-10%, 5Vout @ 0.3A Flybuck Converter
PMP9362: An isolated flybuck converter with self-driven synchronous rectification on the secondary side accepts an input voltage of 21.6Vin to 26.4Vin and provides an isolated output of 5Vout capable of supplying a maximum of 0.3A of current to the load.
