CISPR 25 Class 5 Rated Multi-Output Power Supply with Pre-Boost for Automotive Cluster Unit
PMP9477: The PMP9477 design is a conducted EMI optimized multi-output power supply for automotive cluster units. The power supply has a pre-boost stage for cold crank and start-stop operation and two buck regulators. The pre-boost stage features the LM3481 boost controller and will start to operate and regulate a 9.5V output when the input voltage drops below 9.5V. It makes the design a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 38V suitable for 12V automotive battery systems. The design has two buck regulators following the pre-boost to generate 3 output voltages: the first stage buck generates a 5V, 2A output using the LM26003, and the second stage generates two outputs of 2.8V, 2A and 1.8V, 2A using the LM26420 (the max output power is 15W). The LM26003 is a wide Vin non-synchronous buck regulator, and the LM26420 is a 5V input dual 2A, high frequency synchronous buck regulator. All three ICs are available in automotive grade versions, qualified in AEC-Q100 Grade 1. The board layout is optimized for improved conducted EMI performance. The power inductor in the pre-boost stage is utilized as an input EMI filter, and thus no additional filter components are required. The board is tested under the automotive EMC standard, CISPR 25, and its conducted emissions are in compliance with the CISPR 25 Class 5 requirements.
Non sync buck controller with 24V input and 18V @ 4.2A output
PMP7755: PMP7755 is a non-synchronous buck controller for LM3409 with 24V DC input and 18V output @ 4.2A. The load is 9 strings with 6 LEDs per string. It uses a motion detector with PIR (passive infarared) dimming as well as 0-10V analog dimming. It has differential high side current sensing which enables setting the dimpoint on PIR. It also has a turn on/off delay.
Small Form Factor 12W Ultra Wide Range Power Supply for Protection Relays - Reference Design
TIDA-00227: This small form factor, 12W power supply solution for protection relays handles an ultra-wide range of both AC and DC inputs making it a suitable platform to power a variety of lower power protection relays that need to be placed in a small housing. The power supply is designed to output industry standard voltages required in protection relays while also providing excellent line and load regulation. This solution has been engineered for high wattage with good efficiency and has also been pre-compliance tested for IEC61000-4 (EFT and Surge) and CISPR 11 Class A (Interference).

PMP6998.1: The PMP6998 reference design is an isolated Flyback which uses an LM5072 and is intended for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. It can generate isolated outputs of 3.3 Volts at 3.3 Amps and 5 Volts at 2 Amps from an input of 38 to 60 Volts DC. An auxiliary input supply of 12 Volts may also be used with this design.

PMP9458: The PMP9458 reference design is a conducted EMI optimized 2-layer board power supply for automotive cluster units. The power supply has two buck regulators in cascaded connection: the first stage buck generates a 5V, 2A output using the LM26003, and the second stage generates two outputs of 2.8V, 1.5A and 1.8V, 2A using the LM26420 (The max output power in total is 14W). The LM26003 is a wide Vin non-sync buck regulator, and the LM26420 is a 5V input dual 2A, high frequency sync buck regulator. They both have automotive grade versions, qualified in AEC-Q100 Grade 1. The input voltage range of the design is 6.5V to 38V making it suitable for automotive 12V battery systems. The 2-layer board design has the PCB layout optimized and adds an input filter stage to improve the conducted EMI performance. The board is tested under the automotive EMC standard, CISPR 25, and its conducted emissions are in compliance with the CISPR 25 Class 5 requirements.
High-Eff 2Stage Univ Input Pwr Supply Using Trans Mode PFC/LLC Resonant Conv Reference Design
PMP8920: Low EMI, high efficiency, high power factor and reliable power supply are main focus of the PMP8920 design for telecom applications. Transient mode (TM) power factor correction (PFC) with UCC28051 and LLC series resonant converter (SRC) with UCC25600 are applied in PMP8911. In addition, synchronous rectifier (SR) IC UCC24610 is applied to LLC output rectifier stage. Low EMI is expected with zero voltage switching on TM-PFC and LLC-SRC switches. An overall 91% efficiency is achieved at 100W full load. In addition, several protections are embedded into this design which includes input under-voltage protection, input over-voltage protection, output over-voltage protection, and output hic-cup over-power protection.

PMP8522: This design is a LED driver for automotive applications. It has dimming capability (60 Hz @ 0.1-4ms on-time) and is thermally designed to work with a maximum duty cycle of 25%.
LM3448 – 220VAC, 8W Dimmable Isolated
PMP8001: This demonstration board highlights the performance of a LM3448 based Flyback LED driver solution that can be used to power a single LED string consisting of 6 / 7 series connected LEDs from an 198 VRMS to 264 VRMS, 50 Hz input power supply. The integrated high-voltage and low Rdson MOSFET reduces design complexity while improving LED driver efficiency. This is a two-layer board using the bottom and top layer for component placement. The demonstration board can be modified to adjust the LED forward current, the number of series connected LEDs that are driven and the switching frequency. 230-V, 400-W High Efficiency Battery Charger w/PFC and LLC for 36-V Power Tools Reference Design
TIDA-00355: The design is a 400-W high efficiency battery charger power supply designed to charge wide range of batteries in the voltage range of 20V to 42V and ideal for 10-Cell Li-Ion battery pack used in cordless Power Tools and Garden Tools. The design has boost PFC pre-regulator stage opearting at an efficiency of 96%. It provides high Power Factor(PF) of >0.99 and meets PFC regulation as per IEC61000-3-2 class A. The main converter stage is realised using LLC configuration and operates at an efficiency of 96% at full load. The charger is designed for input voltage range of 175V – 265V AC. The design form factor (230mm x 80mm) is compact for the power level of 400W. The design has an operating overall system efficiency of 92% at full load, with voltage and current regulation within +/- 3%. The EMI filter at the front end of the circuit is designed to meet EN55011 class A conducted emission levels.

Automotive Reverse Battery Protection Reference Design with Overcurrent and Overvoltage Shutoff
PMP9498: The PMP9498 reference design is a complete front-end protection solution for automotive systems needing reverse voltage, over-voltage, and over-current protection. Load switch capability is also implemented to digitally control the connection and disconnection of the load to the input supply. 120Vac Single Stage Non-Dimmable 50W LED Driver Reference Design
PMP6017: This reference design provides a high power ( 50W ) non-isolated, non-dimming LED driver based on the TPS92074. With a nominal input of 120VAC and input range covering 108VAC to 132VAC, the design provides 1 Amp of output current to a 47V nominal stack of LEDs (~16 LEDs). The Buck PFC provides high power factor and low THD.
